Mike Pence

Biography :

Michael Richard Pence is an American politician and member of the Republican Party. He served as the 48th vice president of the United States from 2017 to 2021 under President Donald Trump. Pence also served as the 50th governor of Indiana from 2013 to 2017. As governor, Pence focused on economic development, tax reform, and education issues. Before becoming governor, he represented Indiana's 6th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2001 to 2013.

Pence played a prominent role in the Trump administration. Also, he served as a key adviser to the president and led various initiatives. Here, Pence was known for his conservative stances on several issues, including abortion, LGBTQ+ rights, and immigration. During his tenure as vice president, he led the National Space Council, which aimed to promote space exploration and coordinate the space policy of the United States.

In the 2020 presidential election, Pence upheld his constitutional duty and certified Joe Biden as the winner of the election. Hence, he gained significant attention during this election. After leaving his position, Pence has remained active in conservative politics, involved in speaking engagements, political advocacy, and supporting Republican candidates. His wife is Karen Pence, and they married in 1985.
