Cristiano Ronaldo is a professional football player from Portugal and one of the greatest players of all time in the world. Ronaldo began his senior football career with Sporting CP. Then he joined Manchester United in 2003. Ronaldo achieved prominence in the professional ranks quickly and won numerous titles and awards throughout his career, including five Ballon d'Or awards which are awarded to the best football player in the world, four European Golden Shoes, seven league titles, five UEFA Champions Leagues, the UEFA European Championship, and the UEFA Nations League. In 2008, he won his 1st Ballon d'Or award.

Ronaldo has played for several of the world's top football clubs, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus. Currently, he is representing Al-Nassr Football Club and Portugal's national football team. In 2008, Ronaldo was become Captain of the Portuguese team and went on to lead Portugal to win Euro 2016. He is a prolific goal scorer and is known for his ability to score from any position on the field. Ronaldo is also a brand ambassador for several high-profile companies, including Nike and Tag Heuer. He is one of the highest-paid endorsers in sports due to his extreme popularity. He signed a “lifetime” contract with the sportswear company Nike and became the third person to obtain this contract. Furthermore, Ronaldo established his own brand of products as “CR7”. It includes shoes, underwear, and fragrances. He became the first person in the world to reach 500 million followers across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter in February 2021.
